The photographer Helena Schätzle, the sociologist Lisa Kellermann and the art theorist Antonia Heyn took the latest Nazi murder series in Germany to ask different people in Kassel about their racist experiences.
We did not only concentrate on the concrete action alone, we also looked at the background and matrix, which allow a continuous latent discrimination against people who do not fit the stereotype of German society.
Questions about racism within onself oposed up.
Human being became visible.
Concerned people got the chance to speak.
Effects of discrimination became noticeable.
Communication, memories, reflections, prejudices, realizations, opinions and desires got linked with each other.
